Ordering Policies


When ordering or inquiring about an item, please include the following information:

  1. The section of the website you found the item (i.e. Roman Glass, Fine Diamond Jewelry, etc.)
  2. Item type (i.e. rings, bracelets, earrings, etc.)
  3. The item name or number.

The minimum for any phone or mail order is $25 merchandise value plus the cost of the shipping.


We ship via US Postal Service unless otherwise specified.

We do not sell or give your information to anyone, and we do not keep credit card data or other financial information on file. This includes information pertaining to gift recipients.

Return and Refund Policy

We understand that when you buy fine jewelry from Heirlooms, you are placing your trust in us throughout the entire purchasing process.  We strive to provide you with the very best buying experience possible. We have thousands of satisfied customers who have shopped with us for over 15 years because we treat everyone the same—with respect, knowledge, and the highest degree of ethics.  We plan on having you as a thoroughly satisfied customer!  We try to disclose everything we know about a piece, including any flaws it may have, as is sometimes the case with antique and estate jewelry.  However, if for some reason you are unsatisfied with what you buy, we will accept it for either a full refund or store credit as you prefer, as outlined in the conditions below:

  • Jewelry must be free from damage incurred by the buyer, and unaltered by repair or sizing by another jeweler.  For example, if a necklace chain has broken due to misuse or a stone has come out of a ring because it has been knocked into something, we are not responsible for this type of damage. Please make sure of this before returning an item. All returns are subject to our inspection before a refund is processed.
  • We will absorb any credit card charges, however any returns must be prepaid by you and fully insured for the sale price.  We can not accept any returns COD.
  • We will accept merchandise for return for a maximum period of 21 days after receipt by you.

  •  Enclose a copy of the receipt and a description of why you are returning the piece.  Please provide a telephone number, mail and email address, etc.  so that we can contact you for credit card or check refund.  A refund will be credited to your same form of original payment within 7 days after receipt by us, except that we will not send cash through the mail or any courier service.
  • Merchandise purchased and paid by a third party and received as a gift by the recipient will be credited with a 100% value store credit (excluding shipping) for a period of one year.
